A spacious formal dining room with faux tin ceiling, bay window, and reclaimed heart pine floors is to the left of the entry.  At the end of the brick entry hall, there is a wall of floor to ceiling windows and a brick arch that leads to the gourmet kitchen.  As you enter the kitchen, there is a powder room located to the left.

 

The gourmet kitchen is a beautiful and creative spot to cook.  Rich red cabinetry accented by a built-in black buffet and a tall cupboard of alder wood provides abundant storage and delight to the eye.  A reclaimed pined ceiling and reclaimed oak floors along with two copper sinks and copper hardware add an aura of old world authenticity to the kitchen. Modern conveniences include slab granite counters, a commercial grade Viking gas stove with 6 burners and skillet, double ovens, two dishwashers, refrigerator plus a refrigerator drawer.  There is even pot filler over the stove, which is embedded in copper along with antique Italian tiles, which form a scene of the town square in Mali, Sicily.   A butler’s pantry, located between the kitchen and the dining room, offers a wine cooler, an icemaker and a large walk-in pantry.

 

Adjoining the kitchen, there is a large family room with ample room for sitting and casual dining.  The family room, which also has a pine ceiling with hand hewn pine beams and oak floors, offers a door to the front porch, a gas fireplace, two ceiling fans and French doors to covered back porch.  The back porch, which also has a brick floor and a cedar ceiling, has 548 square feet and boasts a built-in stainless steel Viking gas grill. The covered back porch adjoins a large flagstone patio, which overlooks a waterfall that spills into a pond below.
